At Melville-Knox Schools we aim to offer the highest possible standards of education. Our teachers are all of the finest calibre and registered through the General Teaching Council of Scotland. Our schools are committed to small class sizes to give extra focus to each individual pupil’s needs.
Since God created all things and all knowledge belongs to Him, our schools teach each subject on the curriculum from a Biblical perspective. Christianity affects the whole of life, including how we think and learn and so we teach how to love God with all the heart and mind.
Melville-Knox Schools work together to achieve the best in professional practice. We hope to develop schools across Scotland so that all parents can have the opportunity to send their child to a Melville-Knox School.
Melville-Knox Highland is hoping, all being well, to start a school in Rosskeen Church Hall, Invergordon, on 19 August 2024. We plan to offer a thorough and excellent education that is based upon the Word of God and which prepares children to thrive in later life. Children benefit from learning Biblical wisdom, as well as high quality academic standards. Biblical wisdom is not just learning facts about the Bible, but working out how the Bible relates to all of life. Biblical wisdom recognises that Christ is the originator of the wisdom underpinning every subject in the curriculum. It honours Christ as Lord of all of life. Our School seeks to consistently apply these principles through the whole curriculum to prepare our pupils to serve in His Kingdom and be a blessing to others.
If you are a parent, we invite you to consider partnering with us for your child’s education. Christian education is an investment in their future and we keep our fees as affordable as possible. Check out the photos below and read through our site to see what sort of education your child will enjoy. If you want to see Reformation in modern Scotland, would you consider supporting the work of our School? You will find all sorts of reasons why a Christian school, like ours, is needed in the Highlands and how you can help support us. This is an exciting opportunity and we ask you to join us on this journey.
The school’s Board of Directors are seeking to recruit full and part-time Primary and Secondary Teachers who will help to take forward its vision for Christian Education in Scotland. We are also interested in teachers who may be willing to volunteer on an occasional basis. Potential candidates will need to be committed Christians, holding reformed convictions, in line with our constitution. Teachers need to be registered with the General Teaching Council for Scotland. There may be opportunities for trainee teachers and short-term student placements.
